Hey Gang,

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of those affected by the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina. I'm hoping we can work together to raise some money for the Disaster Relief Fund.

Here's what we've got in mind... we have a show coming up this Thursday with Glen Burtnik and Cool Days End. It's "Springsteen Appreciation Night" at The Saint, and we were asked to play a Bruce song and talk a little bit about how Bruce has influenced us. Ya know what? We've been thinking of all these songs we'd like to cover, but it's really hard to pick just one. Here's where you guys come in...

WE NEED YOU TO PICK THE SONG... stop by the merchandise table, and for every $5 you donate, you'll get an entry form. Pick the Bruce song you'd like to hear - any song, any album. During our set we'll pick one song at random and send it out to the winner. All donations will be sent to the Red Cross.

So be sure to pick some good tunes and enter as many times as you'd like!

See ya soon,

Frankie

Hey People!

Thanks to everyone for coming out to The Saint, and a special big-ass thanks to our good friend Bruce Tunkel for coming out and playing with us on the last night. As huge fans of Bruce's music, it was a real honor to have him join us.

To The Saint, Gary Wien at Upstage Radio, and the hole-punchin', frequent-attendin' card-carryin' crew who came out to all 4 shows... this buca's for you!!

Hey, did ya hear?? We had so much fun, we're gonna do it again! That's right, we'll be back at The Saint every Thursday in December. Holiday shows, baby! But more on that later...

Check it out... pete was recently featured in an article in the Bergen Record about the NJ music scene. You can find that here.

Next stop is Friday night at the Pony. Come on out!

As a result, we've been evicted... but we're havin' one last party before we go...

We've been having a great summer so far... opening up for Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers at their sold out show at The Saint was a blast... our first show up in Boston was a big success and we'll be making another trip up there in the fall. Stay tuned... and thanks to everyone who came out to our show with Joe D'Urso and Jon Caspi at The Wonder Bar. A lot of food was collected for the Monmouth County Food Bank that night. Guest "peatles" throughout the month... we asked some of our buds to come help us make some noise!

Cold beer at a reasonable price... $1 Miller Lite drafts from 8-9 / $2.50 all night long... NIIICE!!

NYC / NORTH JERSEY PEEPS... we will be back in NYC on Saturday, July 23rd, downtown at The Pussycat Lounge. This is our first show at this venue - hope you can make it out! E-mail Frankie for discount passes.

A LITTLE HELP FOR OUR FRIENDS... I recently got an e-mail from Anthony D'Amato about a benefit concert that he organized with his brother. Some of you may have read Anthony's reviews on AsburyMusic.com and in Upstage Magazine. The SPARKS Benefit show features the very talented David Sancious and it's taking place at the Two River Theatre in Red Bank on July 16th. Sounds like a great night for a great cause. For more info on SPARKS and the show, check out SPARKS International.

Hey People!

LET'S PARTY... Our big-ass CD Release Show is set for Saturday, February 12th at our favorite club in all the land, The Saint. Tickets are $10 and are on sale now. New CDs, new t-shirts, and The Damnwells (who kick ass) are headlining... all this on a Saturday night in Asbury Park. NICE! Hope to see ya there!

THANK YOU... You've heard him on our CD and you've seen him at lots of our shows as of late. Big thanks to the smokin' (literally) Rob Savoy for playing with us. We borrowed Rob from Kimon and he brought a tremendously good vibe to our recording sessions and to our live shows. Rob is one of those guys that puts everything he has into his playing each and every time out and it was a great pleasure to work with him for a while. Thanks, man! We wish you all the best.

CHECK IT OUT... Check out John Cavanaugh's Rocktography site. Many of you know John is the official photographer for the Stone Pony. He's captured many great rock-n-roll moments from lots of great nights at the Jersey Shore. You can check out his pictures at his new website. Click here to get there.

COOL SHOWS... We have some cool stuff coming up. Tomorrow we're playing a Military Care Package Party in Gladstone, NJ. There's no cover - instead, we ask that you bring some stuff to be included in care packages that will be put together at this party and sent to the troops. Follow this link for more info about this special show. Next month, we'll be playing in Philly as well as at NJ's coolest record store, Vintage Vinyl. Check out the calendar page for more info.

That's all for now. Thanks to everyone who has ordered the CD and thanks for the e-mails, too. We're glad you guys are diggin' it.

Hey people!

How's it goin'? Here's an update on all that's happening in peteland.

RECORDING CONTINUES... All is going very well and we expect to have our first full-length CD out early this summer. NICE!

MARCH 10TH... that's our next show and we're really psyched about it! We're opening for one of our favorite bands, Marah, at one of our favorite clubs, the Saint. Those of you who have seen Marah know why we like 'em so much. They put on one of the best live shows I've ever seen. I've heard all the stories about what it was like to see Springsteen back in the early 70's, and every time I see these guys live, I imagine that's what it must have been like. Should be a great night. Come on out!

SPECIAL THANKS TO THE BTX GANG... We really appreciate all the support you've shown us, not to mention the help on percussion. I'm glad we had the chance to meet some of you guys at our recent shows. Hope to see y'all again soon.

THE BTX BAND... Friday, March 26th... save the date! The BTX Band are a Springsteen tribute band and they're getting ready to rock the Jersey Shore. You gotta check these cats out! They play a lot of really cool stuff, especially some of the more obscure Bruce songs that you wouldn't expect to hear. The boys will be havin' a house party at Lance & Debbie's in Asbury Park. Be sure to check 'em out!

SECOND ANNUAL SPRING MINI-TOUR WITH THE HUDSON FALCONS... The great N.J. punk-n-roll band, the Hudson Falcons, have just finished recording their latest CD and they've invited us to do some shows with them. Check back - details will be posted here soon!

Finally, before I sign off, a friend passed along this site to me and I wanted to pass it along to you guys as well. It's a site dedicated to assisting the survivors and families of the victims of the tragic fire at the Station nightclub in Rhode Island last year. I spend a lot of time in clubs and the tragedy at the Station crosses my mind quite often, but I have to admit that I didn't realize how much these people still need help until I went to this site and read some of the stories. If you have the means to help, please check out www.stationfamilyfund.org.

That's all for now.

See ya soon!

Hey people!

My apologies for being away for so long. An infected computer has kept me from the site for the better part of a month. I must say, it's good to be back and virus-free. And now that we've got a clean bill of health (thank you Bob), on with the news...

To start, we had a wicked-cool time playing up in New England a couple of weeks ago. Very special thanks to Mark and Kerri Linskey for all of their help and support... we couldn't have done it without you cats! We'd also like to thank all the guys from The Pubcrawlers, Roachenders, Dirty Water, and Nogoodnix for making us Jersey boys and girl feel right at home. You guys rock! With all that being said, the biggest thanks of all go out to Ben Glotzbach for all of his time and talent. Thank you brother! It was a pleasure!

In other cool news, we're very psyched about a new book that just came out called Beyond the Palace. It's a look at the history of the Jersey Shore music scene written by Gary Wien. You can find an interview with Marc and me in there, not to mention lots of our musical heroes. We're really honored to be included! Check out www.asburymusic.com for more info.

That's all for now, but I'll have more news to report in the near future, so keep checking back. See ya soon!

Hey people!

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a great holiday season. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us on our "NO TIME TO CHRISTMAS SHOP" tour. Gift certificates for everyone!! The shows were a lot of fun, and as always, we really appreciate all your support.

I also wanted to say that we had an absolute blast on New Year's Eve opening for Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. The Jukes are one of my all-time favorite bands and I spend just about every New Year's going to see them. To say that I was thrilled and honored to be playing would be a tremendous understatement. I can't think of a better way to wrap up 2002 and start off 2003. What a night...

Don't forget to check out the calendar page as we have some very cool shows coming up. We're really looking forward to our first gig of the new year, which is at The Saint in Asbury Park on January 18th. We're opening for Jason Ringenberg of Jason and the Scorchers and we'll also be serving as his backing band for part of the night. The Trash Mavericks are also on the bill, so it should be a real cool time. Come on down if you can.

"what are we gonna do now?" Joe Strummer, we'll miss you...
