festival taking place in Cranford, NJ in September. Last year it was
attended by over 50,000 people and featured The Alarm, Chuck Berry,
The Smithereens and Live to name a few. To enter, we had to submit a
video of our band playing "Strength" by The Alarm. Yes, The
Alarm... as a lot of you know, they're one of Frankie and Kelly's favorite
bands and biggest influences! Check out the video here.
So how do we win? WE NEED YOU TO VOTE FOR US!!! The band that gets the

THE 2ND ANNUAL
ASBURY ROCKSTARS CHARITY SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT... This year's event was
once again a great success. Thank you to everyone who donated and/or
came out to cheer us on... the maybe pete/Divine Sign/Mable team was
the team that raised the most money! We had a blast even though we got
our asses kicked on the field. Frankie blames the loss on several piss-poor
calls by the umps and has filed an appeal with the league...

THE TIMES THEY ARE A-CHANGIN'... We're sad to announce that Marc Gambino
is leaving his post in maybe pete. As most of you know, Marc is the
original bass player in the band. Since our first gig at the now-defunct
Elbow Room on Bleecker Street in NYC back in the summer of 2001, Marc
has been a rock... steady, dependable, always ready to go. He's a very
dedicated family man who has always made time for music. But as our
band continues to grow, we're anxious to move forward and Marc doesn't
want to hold the band back.
Marc will always be a part of the maybe pete family. Whatever we may
have achieved would not have been possible without his heart and soul.
Bino, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for nearly 7 amazing
years of musicianship, dedication, driving, heavy lifting, Mexican recipes,
double-shots, great conversations and missed exits, broken bass strings,
and most of all, your friendship. We love you, brother!
Frankie, Kelly and Johnny

Hey All,
Since the band has been slacking and hasn't updated this page in a while,
I figured I would step in to let you know the latest MP news...
Recently, Maybe Pete was asked to film a segment for a 12 part TV series
called "Jersey Shore Music." The show will air every Monday
night this summer on Comcast TV. I was lucky enough to go to the taping
and I strongly suggest you set up your recording devices. You won't
want to miss it! As soon as I have the details of where and when it
will air, I'll pass the info along.
If you made it out to the Pony last weekend, you know what I mean by
"Nice!" One of the best MP shows I've ever seen. They played
a lot of new songs, which sounded great, and there was an incredible
sing along on "Somehow" with Frankie out in the middle of
the dance floor. Then Jukes' guitarist Bobby Bandiera made a special
appearance on stage with the band for a cover of "Just My Imagination"
to close out their set. The audience went BERSERK. It was fantastic.
Many thanks to everyone who took pics and sent them to the band! They
are great!
Lastly, BIG SHOW coming up!! Saturday the 22nd of this month, Maybe
Pete at the legendary Bitter End!! This will be a night to remember.
I will be there, and I hope you will be too!!
Peace,
Michelle
